Blox Monsters Map & Worlds
Blox Monsters is built as a chain of islands along an adventure path: each world brings its own catchable monsters, an egg type, hidden spawns and usually a boss. You unlock the next island by progressing through the current one, with portals linking the chain.
This guide covers every confirmed world, the boss and egg economy, and how to move through the map without wasting hours – the developer ships new islands at a remarkable pace, and we update this page with each one.
All Worlds & Islands
| World | Highlights | Notable monsters |
|---|---|---|
| Misty Forest | Spawn island: Egg Hatcher, Bloodline NPC, incubators and the Grass Egg | Seedmon, Flowermon, Cactus Cub (XP), Volt Loop (XP), starters incl. Bubblefin |
| Mid-path islands | Further stops on the adventure path, each with their own roster, dojo-style badge fights and achievements | Region-themed catches; rosters grow with each update |
| Iceberg | Frozen world featuring the Sealed Calamity boss and its Sealed Egg; portal to Astral Grove | Ice-type monsters; boss: Sealed Calamity |
| Astral Grove | Newest island: psychic theme, Shadow Egg, two hidden monsters in one zone (a first) | Illusi-ver → Illusivon, Faint → Phantom, Pufflair; hidden: Pico, Orbit Fin |
The adventure path keeps growing – Astral Grove arrived only weeks after release, before its achievements were even ready. Expect this table to gain rows; we add each island as it ships.
Bosses & Respawn Timers
Bosses are the backbone of progression because every boss kill guarantees an egg drop – and boss eggs hatch the strongest monsters in the game.
- Respawn: roughly every 6 hours per boss. Build your play sessions around the timer.
- Boss eggs take about 15 hours to hatch – hourglasses from the shops cut this down.
- Sealed Calamity on Iceberg drops the Sealed Egg, hatched at the incubator back in Misty Forest.
- Anyone who deals damage gets participation credit, so join every boss fight you see – even underleveled.
Hidden monsters are rare timed spawns announced with a banner at the top of everyone's screen. They offer far better catches than regular spawns – with the right bloodline, guaranteed high ranks.
- Drop everything when the announcement appears – spawns are short and other players are racing you.
- Astral Grove has two hidden monsters (a first for the game): Pico, which evolves into Picomo at level 16, and Orbit Fin.
- Orbit Fin is the hardest catch in the game – roughly 44% chance even with the top-tier Demon Ball.
- Bloodlines change everything here: Picomori guarantees hidden catches at Rank B or above.
Egg Locations
| Egg | Where to get it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Grass Egg | Misty Forest | Found while exploring the spawn island; hatch early monsters |
| Sealed Egg | Sealed Calamity boss (Iceberg) | Guaranteed drop per kill; ~15h hatch, contains strong monsters |
| Shadow Egg | Astral Grove | Hatches the psychic roster of the newest island |
| Boss eggs (general) | Every boss on the path | One guaranteed egg per kill; respawn ~6h |
Golden rule: never leave the incubator empty. With 15-hour boss egg timers and 6-hour boss respawns, every idle incubator hour is progression thrown away. Queue an egg before logging off, always.
Fastest Progression Route
- Pick your starter, then immediately roll your bloodline in Misty Forest (3 free rerolls).
- Battle the early monsters around spawn and farm Cactus Cubs and Volt Loops – they give the best early XP (Volt Loops ~80 XP per kill).
- Catch everything once for the index, keep all duplicates for fusion, and evolve your starter line as levels come.
- Push the adventure path island by island, clearing dojo/badge fights and achievements as you go.
- From Iceberg onward, sync your sessions with the 6-hour boss respawns and keep Sealed Eggs incubating.
- In Astral Grove, camp hidden monster announcements for Pico and Orbit Fin while building toward the meta team.
